Recognition for EHS Excellence

Validation of EHS excellence by external and internal resources is one of the drivers of our continuous improvement effort.

External recognition takes a variety of forms…third party registration of our environmental management systems to the ISO 14001 standard, third party registration of our safety management system to the OHSAS 18001 standard, OSHA’s VPP Star Status, and awards from governmental agencies, community organizations, and environmental interest groups.

The Chairman’s Environment, Health and Safety Excellence Award is our primary internal tool for recognizing business units that demonstrate high performance in environment, health and safety processes and performance on a sustained and continuously improving basis.
