In this two-year development program, open to European graduates, each of our disciplines offer unique job learning experiences plus personal development through mentorship and soft skills training.

If you’re a highly motivated recent university graduate, demonstrate natural leadership ability and passion to learn within a cutting-edge environment, we are looking for you. A focus on delivering quality work is key as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt to changes in a growing multinational company is important to us. Having an international presence, we are looking for graduates who are willing to travel and have the flexibility to relocate to other countries as part of their career development.

Commercial

Cargill. European Graduate Program. Commercial.As a commercial graduate you start in a function in either sales or in commodity trading:

  • As a sales employee you provide added value and solutions for our clients. For example you sell flour to animal feed mixers or sunflower oil to fast moving consumer goods producers.
  • As a commodity trader you buy and sell raw food-materials worldwide. You make a daily analysis of the various market and price developments, you assess the risk elements and you take action accordingly.

Finance

Cargill. European Graduate Program. Finance.As a Finance Graduate you will be a member of the Accounting team that works closely with the trading/sales/forwarding/logistics/plant teams and you will be heavily involved in the daily business of Cargill. You will handle general accounting and reporting responsibilities such as assistance with preparation of profit and loss close and have responsibility for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and/or Balance Sheet reconciliation. You may participate in special projects related to corporate initiatives. You will gain significant knowledge on local, country and worldwide finance and accounting activities that support our businesses.

We’re looking for University graduates in business administration or economics, preferably in accounting and control or finance.

Cargill. European Graduate Program. Technical.During your training period as a Technical Graduate you will apply your technical expertise and leadership potential in a hands-on environment. Early on, you will be responsible for a significant part of the production process and for the people that make it happen. You will be expected to contribute to productivity, quality and process improvement. Your success is determined by your capability to develop leadership skills.

Supply Chain

Cargill. European Graduate Program. Supply chain.As a Supply Chain Graduate you will become a professional in the logistical part of a production site. You begin as an assistant planner and be in direct contact with clients, suppliers and employees from production and management. You will be responsible for achieving an optimal relationship between production, loading activities and distribution of orders.

Technical Commercial Animal Science

cow-lying-downDuring your training period as a Technical Commercial Graduate you will complete your development program with the Cargill Premix and Nutrition (CPN) business unit. You will have the opportunity to perform assignments in various departments, including a short-term assignment abroad. After finishing the program, the aim is to provide you a position within Commercial or Strategic Marketing & Technology.
