SBD – Meet Strategy & Business Development Analysts
|
INTERVIEW: PRISCILLA MWANGI
|
I was named for my maternal grandmother.
I am from Kenya. The only other place I have lived in is Maryland before moving to Minneapolis.
English and two African languages; Swahili and Kikuyu
I went to Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya for my undergrad degree in business and University of Maryland for my MBA.
This is my first year with Cargill. Before then I worked for seven years in brand management for Procter & Gamble, Kodak and Unga Ltd.
In Minneapols working as a sales analyst in the Food Ingredients NA Platform.
I like to jog, watch movies, and take weekend trips.
My role model is Colin Powell. He had very few opportunities growing up but he grabbed the ROTC one and pursued all the avenues it opened to him until he became the Secretary of State.
I see myself retiring from a leading a multinational company to a slower life filled with volunteering for charities that are geared towards children and training young entrepreneurs.
...traveled to most continents. I plan to do Latin America and Australia to round out my world travels.
