As a paralegal at Cargill, you are an integral part of our legal services team. You’ll partner with lawyers to provide cost-effective legal services to businesses throughout the company.
Our team-based structure leverages all of your capabilities and skills — offering real challenges while giving you the necessary autonomy to handle them. Through daily client contact, you’ll gain an understanding of our diverse businesses.
You will have a lot of responsibility and be encouraged to continually develop your skills. More complex assignments and new specialty areas will be open to you as you gain experience, knowledge and additional competencies.
- Generalist paralegals handle a variety of commercial matters for assigned business units of the company.
- Paralegal subject matter specialists provide a wide range of legal services:
- Acquisitions and divestitures
- Corporate practice
- Employment law
- Environmental matters
- Immigration
- Intellectual property
- Litigation/arbitration
- Real estate
Position requirements include a four-year college degree and completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program. New paralegals often have experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, as well.
