Growing up in a foreign country — combined with a genuine interest in business and entrepreneurship — helped me to decide to study international business in Maastricht. After graduation I wanted to find a place where I could continue to develop my skills in an environment that would stimulate personal growth and entrepreneurship. Cargill has offered me this place.

Cargill's European Graduate Program gives me the opportunity to gain skills, meet professionals from diverse backgrounds and see Cargill's plants all over Europe. Next to this program, I started learning essential business skills on the job from day one.

After working for 14 months, I am responsible for over one million Euros in sales serving two multinational foodservice companies. I am involved in daily production, supplier negotiations, new business opportunities and working on next year's product innovations. My job at Cargill, in combination with this program, has kick-started my international career and I am convinced I will have a bright future within this great family company.
