My country of origin is Brazil. I have also lived in the USA and Spain.

English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German (basic) 

What is your educational background? 

ScB in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University, MBA from MIT Sloan School. 

How long have you been with Cargill, and what did you do prior to joining the company?

I have been with Cargill almost two years. My professional experience prior to Cargill includes: Monitor Company, strategy consultant; Netstream Telecom, marketing and business development manager; OptiGlobe Telecom, VP marketing and business development; Bose Corporation, marketing development manager; new ventures group 

Where was your field assignment? 

My field assignment was with the Cocoa business in Brazil. 

What do you like to do for fun/what are your hobbies? 

I enjoy cooking (only under my wife's supervision), reading, martial arts, yoga, tennis, golf and photography.
