Cargill supports programs and organizations that improve the nutrition and health of people living in our communities where we operate around the globe. We focus our efforts on improving agricultural practices for farmers at every level of production, helping to improve incomes and livelihoods; advocating for functioning markets and open trade; and pursuing partnerships to find long term solutions to hunger and improving nutrition. Cargill employees in Rotterdam volunteered on a weekly basis to support the food bank with packaging activities. In Bergen op Zoom, Cargill supports the local food bank 'Goed Ontmoet' with transport resources, IT equipment and financial donations.

Together with the Global Food Banking Network and Aidmatrix Foundation, Cargill helped establish the first food bank in India. Cargill also fortifies edible oils with essential vitamins that reach 25 million consumers.
