Tilapia is one of the most important cultured fish in the world. An excellent source of lean protein, tilapia is a versatile food that works well in nearly all cuisines.

Cargill’s AQUAXCEL® tilapia feeds provide excellent nutrition for tilapia. The micro-extruded particles are manufactured to offer better pellet stability and reduced nutrient leaching into the culture water. The feed is sized specifically for tilapia to facilitate consumption, and nutrients are highly available to the fish to support optimum growth and development.

Cargill feeding programs focus on maintaining effective digestible energy to protein ratios over the production cycle to help ensure optimal growth, feed conversion ratios and fillet yield, while limiting the amount of interperitoneal (belly) fat.
