Fat content
Cargill offers a complete range of powders with different levels of fat content:
- 10-12%
- 20-22%
- 22-24%
Several cocoa powders from our Holland plant are also available with intermediate fat content.
Wettability
Due to the cocoa butter fat present in cocoa powder, wettability in cold water and milk is poor. We offer several lecithinated powders to improve wettability from our plants in Holland and Brazil.
Packaging
Cocoa powders are available in: 25 kg, 50 lb bags, and in big bags. For customers within a 500 km range of our Holland plant, we also have a limited capability to supply powders in bulk.
Some Cargill products are only approved for use in certain geographies, end uses, and/or at certain usage levels. It is the customer's responsibility to determine, for a particular geography, that (i) the Cargill product, its use and usage levels, (ii) the customer's product and its use, and (iii) any claims made about the customer's product, all comply with applicable laws and regulations.
