Atmer™ 1440 additive migrates to the surface of the polymer and allows water droplets to spread into a continuous film. This reduces hot and cold fogging, maintaining the transparency of food packaging, and improving the presentation of the contents inside.
Guidelines for Use:
Atmer™ 1440 additive can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch /pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion, though mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 0.5 - 4%.
