Chef's Selection: Home Edition
Meeting consumers’ evolving expectations following COVID-19
Meet Fang Lie, Senior Culinary Chef at Cargill
Normally, Fang would have invited you into our Culinary Experience Hub, a state-of-the-art kitchen that is part of our Vilvoorde R&D Center in Belgium, where she co-creates concepts with our customers.
However, like all of us, Fang is adapting to the ‘new normal’, and invites you into her home kitchen, to give you a taste of how our ingredients can help you solve today’s formulation challenges.
Global lockdown measures have sparked an increase in home delivery and home cooking. Being confined at home means the experience element of foods is now even more important. In addition, there are indications that consumers have become even more conscious of ingredient claims and labels, looking for familiar ingredients, healthier options -and above all, diversity in their dietary choices.
In this rapidly evolving landscape, manufacturers need a reliable ingredient partner with the right mix of application knowledge and adequate ingredient solutions to create new, on trend concepts.
Click on one of the challenges below and see how Cargill can be that partner:
