Position Purpose & Summary Briefly explain the general purpose of the position. As a Short Term Business Traveler (STBT) Analyst, you will work as part of the GHRS – Cargill Business Services Short Term Business Traveler team to analyze employee travel information and assess immigration and social security compliance requirements. You will prepare required documentation for the traveler or notify an external vendor to complete a more in depth analysis. You will be the travelers first point of contact for questions regarding completion of the data gathering form (DGF). You will be required to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization regarding their travel information and documentation requirements. You will demonstrate a strong ability to analyze and assess information to determine required travel documentation into a specific country or countries.

Principal Accountabilities

Describe in detail 4-5 major position responsibilities/duties, not tasks, listing the most important first. No duty should have a percentage less than 5% and all duties should add to 100% Perform Travel Data Analysis 60% * Independently review and analyze employee travel data with regard to immigration and social security country specific requirements for multiple countries in different regions * With minimal oversight, evaluate traveler information via decision trees and country rules and make conclusions as to travel document compliance requirements * Independently responsible to be an expertise in understanding the country’s compliance and handle the ad-hoc requests effectively and efficiently within the given time frame. * Identify exceptions and provide the correct process for next steps * Work with internal subject matter experts to assist in analysis of traveler documentation * Work with external vendors as necessary to ensure traveler has required work authorization * Work with travelers to ensure they are travel ready and their documents are in compliance * Regularly interprets procedures and applies judgement to accomplish ambiguous tasks * Completes tasks on processes that are vaguely defined, and recommends solutions to issues that deviate from established procedures Prepare Traveler Documentation 20% * Create required travel documentation via Word document and mail merge * Communicate assessment and documentation requirements with travelers * Complete the execution of the document (signatures) or guide the traveler through the process * Manage traveler information in a database—ensure the completeness and maintenance of the information * Provide traveler with conclusion assessment document * Coordinate payments with FSS as necessary for work authorization documentation—maintain billing information and provide to FSS for charge out to Cargill businesses Consulting with External Vendors 10% * Interface with external vendors (law firms) to request further analysis of travel documentation to ensure compliant work authorization (Work Permits, Visas) Miscellaneous Duties 10% * As assigned

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or Business. * 4-6 years of Human Resources/Business experience * At least 3 years of relevant experience as Global Travel Admin * Ability to execute processes and HR solutions * Strong oral communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate and influence all levels of the organization * Strong written communication skills * Demonstrated willingness and ability to partner, build, and sustain positive working relationships * Able to perform successfully in ambiguous environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
