we are seeking to recruit a: Energy Engineer (m/f/u)
Position available: asap General information: The Manufacturing Technology Department is the “owner” of the process. To fulfil this requirement, the work of the Energy Engineer is related to support and to provide the best operation practices to the plant operation. You will be responsible for the selection and by request for the implementation and training of the best operation variation. Specific key accountabilities are in the area of safety & environment, continuous improvement and reliability as well as in supply, yield and consumption efficiency (total manufacturing costs).
General accountabilities :
+ Development and assessment of process improvement projects to optimize output and yield, to reduce manufacturing costs, energy and supply consumption costs as well as to improve the quality, food safety and plant safety performances. Act as part of the continuous improvement team.
+ Evaluation, investigation and optimization of system results. This includes the supervision of safety and quality requirements as well as the investigation and control of yield and supply. Support the line management with reports and develop improvement plans.
+ Development, preparation, leading, support and training of projects in different areas.
+ Support, introduction and further development of Cargill best practice, interaction with central functions as well as development and training
+ Temporary act as Area Super Intendent
Minimum Required Qualifications :
+ University degree or equivalent with main faculty in engineering, chemistry, food technology, energy engineering or process engineering or similar.
+ Alternatively, a very intense on the job experience in process optimization with an industrial master qualification would qualify for this position
+ Preferably 3 – 5 years’ experience in process optimization
+ Experience in relevant safety aspects and experience in food industry.
+ Participation in risk analyses (HACCP, safety-risk assessment)
+ Knowledge of ISO 9002, 14000, FSSC 22000, ISO 50001
+ Know how in boiler, evaporation and drying technique, heat exchanger, energy systems ;
+ Knowledge in Six Sigma, Green Belt, continues improvement strategy, KAIZEN
