Position Purpose & Summary * Driving results through High Performance Management of Sales Team, living Cargill Leadership Expectation and building strategic vision of CQN India-Shrimp with help of sales team (Commercial Director, RSM plus peer group) and also cross functional team. * Responsible and accountable for topline and bottomline growth with full engagement of sales team, customers and allied functional team members.

Principal Accountabilities

* To ensure commercial strategies are successfully implemented by managing and directing team to achieve the goals both in terms of volumes and profitability. * To keep close watch on the bottomline of the Aqua business unit as per the commercial strategy. * To maintain effective coordination with the sales, marketing and technical services team to make sure the customers in the region are served in most professional manner. * Reduce wastage and drive profitable brands as per commercial strategy. * Responsible for budgeting, planning, distributing and executing both short and long term revenue budgets across the region by effective channel management for both Dealers and Key customers. Business Development Strategy * Proactively guide, motivate and inspire team to seek new customers to drive topline and bottomline for the business. * Participate in business and technical seminars / programs / exhibitions in order to seek new customer alignments and to forge new relationships. * Steer Customer Relationship Management in the division and ensure all customers are offered the right set of products and services . People Management / Development & Talent Retention / Management * People Management and development is one of the core and principal responsibility encompassing regular and periodical dialogue with team members to manage their performances. * Responsible for providing the direction and leadership to his/her team – Recruiting, developing and nurturing talents in his/her team to help them in planning, meeting the goals and objectives, managing tasks/activities. * Create positive team climate and uses his key leadership skills of understanding behvioural styles, listening and effectively communicating, rewarding and recognizing, handling criticism and uses problem solving and persuasive skills to get the tasks accomplished. * Retention of talent – idenfication of training needs and suggesting the management on the same. * Talent management – works with Commercial Director and HR on the 9 box philosophy for his team coaching and mentoring on the job of the team mates. Ethical Practices and Guiding Principles * Responsbile and accountable to see that team and self is well aware and trained on the ethical practices and guiding principles and also monitors the same is adhered down the line. * Responsible to see the team mates and himself/herself have undergone various trainings incuding safety trainings on regular basis and team follow the safety rules at all levels and times.


Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Sales management / administration / marketing * Proven track record in sales and marketing in aqua industry having 8 -10 years experience in managing sales team * Strong commercial and business acumen * Strong communication skills to influence thought process of team members * High focus on topline and bottomline with a high analytical capability * Must possess interpersonal and networking skills to overcome challenges and build confidence amongst the Key Accounts * Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, partners and staff * Strong negotiation skills to positively impact business outcomes * Fluent in both written and spoken Telugu and English, Computer literate * It’s a people leadership role of managing sales team. Needs high team building capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Masters Degree in Sales management / administration / marketing * More than 10 years experience in commercial role in Aqua Industry * Business acumen and sales skills, Financial and strategic management skills, Profit and Loss Management Skills, Strong Communication Skills * Sound knowledge of Sales and Marketing functions with strong focus on channel management and topline
