Job Purpose and Impact​ The Customs Analyst will execute import and/or export compliance tasks and other customs activities for one or more countries. You'll work closely with internal business units to address risk and leverage customs opportunities, develop and implement control and compliance framework, contribute to government inquiries and provide operational mentor ship and training. You'll work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Law, Foreign Trade or equivalent work experience * Minimum of three years of customs experience * May require excellent written and verbal communications skills to conduct presentations in executive forums and data analytics * Experience managing customs audits – litigation * May require travel up to 50-75% of time * Advanced English Level B2 Preferred Qualifications * Global trade services knowledge * Customs Valuation, Free Trade Agreement origin, customs law and Latin American Integration Association legal framework * Understanding of customs regulations and programs * Technical knowledge of custom compliance including customs valuation, classification, origin, customs processes and export control. * Communicate at all levels within government departments. * Make sense of complex, high-quantity,and sometimes contradictory, information to effectively solve problems. * Uses the most effective and efficient processes to accomplish work, focusing on continuous improvement.
