Position Purpose & Summary Leads and manages a medium to large team of supervisors/individual contributors and indirect staff across multiple supply chain functions or multiple areas within a function, including planning, such as planning, sourcing or transportation. Leads coordination efforts with all areas of supply chain to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gain across a country. Leads and contributes to decisions to measure and optimize performance across the integrated supply chain from supplier to customer. Integrates priorities of the Group and functional leadership and contributes to the development of vision, mission, and strategy for end-to-end supply chain and to ensure that processes are effectively executed to enable the business strategy. A thought leader who leads the development and execution of projects aligned with the strategy, measuring and managing results across the end-to-end supply chain and driving continuous improvement, talent development and leadership, and effective deployment of supply chain processes aligned with functional requirements. Includes work in the areas of strategy and execution leadership, budget and resource management, performance management, business and functional supply chain interface, customer relationship and talent management.

+ Leads and manages the implementation of supply chain long term vision and strategic direction for the Enterprise/Group/Business, including long-range objectives, policies and strategy.
+ Reinforces functional policies and best practices are incorporated into Regional/Business strategies.
+ Supports in development, review, update of the Group or BU strategy, annual operating plans and the related budgets as well as supporting annual targets for KPI’s regarding productivity, service, planning effectiveness, and inventory across the supply chain
+ Leads and contributes in the creation, communication, roll-out, development and review of the functional domain specific strategies and visions to enable business strategy
+ Guides the implementation and sustainment of the Integrated Business Planning process
+ May be directly involved in the Integrated Business Planning process and may include ownership of specific part(s) of the process _15% Performance Management_
+ Manages and implements execution of centrally owned KPI reporting (key performance indicators) and dashboard reporting.
+ Guides business adherence to Cargill and BOSC required metrics as well as the consistent reporting of results delivering measurable business value.
+ Administers measures to improve on customer reliability and service level agreements, as well as action plans to improve on customer service for a medium to large regional, multi-country or BU team _20% Transformation & Continuous Improvement_
+ Facilitates the identification of opportunities to drive the organization to deliver measurable value for Cargill driving improved end to end supply chain performance in multiple areas (e.g. increased customer experience, reduced costs, reduced working capital, improved expectations from Cargill) enabling the supply chain to become a competitive advantage for Cargill.
+ Facilitates the development of strong relationships with other functional leaders (e.g. finance, commercial, marketing, operations, etc.) to enable the growth and continuation of the growth and development of Supply Chain improvement and process optimization.
+ Leads and manages projects and process improvements in the end-to-end supply chain organization to drive continuous improvement to excellence standards.
+ Using an extensive knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures, leads implementation of BOSC processes, and ensures best practices are shared. Examples include best practice identification, documentation, accountability and sharing within the BU, across BU’s and externally.
+ Facilitates execution of centrally owned operational business processes, such as Cargill Integrated Business Planning (CIBP) and budget cycles Leads and manages development of innovative end-to-end supply chain solutions through applying an extensive understanding of supply chain practices and procedures _40% Leadership & Talent Management_
+ Supports and provides leadership for the integration of multiple areas of the Cargill supply chain within the business and across business and functional line, such as customer service, planning, strategic sourcing/procurement, plant operations, and transportation & logistics (i.e. order, plan, source, make, deliver)
+ May be member of the Regional and/or BU leadership teams
+ Leads and Manages a medium or large sized team for ensuring customer expectations are met from planning through order fulfillment.
+ Utilizing an extensive understanding of supply chain practices and procedures, develops a strong understanding of customer needs through building internal and external relationships to provide optimal service to Cargill’s customers. Where appropriate, build relationships with external parties such as consultants.
+ Builds strong supply chain organization of direct reports through identifying, coaching and mentoring supply chain professionals.
+ Guides talent management effort to recruit, retain and engage top talent.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree with focus on Economics, Supply Chain or Logistic Management.
+ Minimum 8- 10 years experience in Logistics & Supply Chain
+ Minimum 5 years experience in People Management with teams of 5 FTE's
+ Fluent in Hungarian
+ Fluent in English
+ Great communication skills
+ Stress resilient
+ Commercially switched on, commercial mindset
+ Strong leadership capabilities
+ Proven track record in change management
+ Strong project experience on cost savings
+ SAP or ERP knowledge
+ Process mapping experience
+ Additional languages are a plus
+ Experience with large matrix organizations
