Position Purpose & Summary To negotiate and ensure the best cost and Quality for Ingredients and other direct Purchases for the CFN Europe business in compliance with Cargill policies and procedures, local regulations and with Global RMS structure. Manage the relationships and negotiations with Local Suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met, retain optimal costs and an adequate control environment. Ensure application of Best Practices and Lead and organize Procurement activities. Help to Lead local Procurement team providing coaching and supporting Development to reach high performance in Procurement activities.
_40% Proteins / by-Products purchases for CFN Europe/Hungary:_
+ Develop and implement the sales/procurement strategies and plans, in line with the Company’s and Functional teams’ strategy, goals and budgets
+ Define our risk and execute the strategy
+ Negotiate and manage agreements with regional/local suppliers
+ Select Suppliers in accordance with Cargill Guiding Principles, local regulations, Sourcing Policies, Quality and Service requirements and Optimal cost for the Business
+ Create and/or accept of purchase order and invoices in the system
+ Monitor external factors and conditions such as Supply and Demand, price trends and market coverage
+ Monitor Suppliers performance on Service and Quality according to requirements _30% Connectivity:_
+ Close cooperation with sales, logistic, production and financial departments
+ Execute the Gameplan set by Global RMS Proteins lead and communicate local market dynamics
+ Give support to Merchandising leads in Proteins and by-products area
+ Support connectivity between all CFN Europe businesses
+ Share best practices, opportunities and improvements with the global network and sourcing leaders _30% Business support:_
+ Analyze and implement local opportunities (e.g. alternative ingredients, new ingredients, improve a value of ingredients)
+ Support pricing process by delivering market info and long term trends
Minimum Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum Secondary Education
+ Experience in risk management, merchandising will be preferred
+ Understanding of local agriculture commodities market
+ Demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, suppliers, peers and leaders. Team spirited
+ Strong influencing skills, ability to work across the organization and with multiple functions, cross BU’s and Functions.
+ Targeting on specific tasks, advanced execution skills
+ Be customer-focused and achievement-driven
+ High self-initiative, setting own goals and execution
+ Credibility with local market leadership and key stakeholders
+ Comfortable in questioning the status quo and testing new ideas
+ Ability to drive changes
+ Sound analytical skills
+ Written and spoken English
+ Driver licence kat B
+ Bachelor`s Degree
+ 5 years of work experience, in Animal Nitrition industry will be preferred
