Position Purpose & Summary



:
This position is needed to enter, stablish and expand the footprint of CCC in India. The position needs to work with a common bakery sales team for driving sales of cocoa powder, real chocolate and chocolate compounds in India. Be a key stakeholder in helping execute the sales strategy for cocoa, chocolate and compounds in India for the B to B space in India. Work on understanding the requirements of the Indian industrial customers and formulate products

Principal Accountabilities









:







* Liase / coordinate with the GEOS bakery sales for developing Cargill Chocolate and compound business using the same network * Explore new vendors and market for the business through GEOS bakery sales team * Understand the roadblock to move forward with Chocolate and compound business * Follow-up with GEOS bakery sales to ensure that product reaches to the market on specified time & order * Explore the market & understand the business through GEOS bakery sales team * Builds market position by locating, developing and meeting growth goals. * Create demand for compound and chocolate business aligned with the Global & Local Category Strategy * Coordinate with GEOS bakery sales team on supply availability and needs and implements business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability * Maintain constant and updated information on compound and chocolate business availability and customers * Monitors compound and chocolate business channel capacity and partners with GEOS bakery sales to develop plan in case of gaps * Investigate failures, identify and understand root causes, drive continues improvement. Unplanned issues, product excess or shortages, etc. * Work closely with GEOS bakery sales team to understand challenges in supply and demand impacts * Mapping needs of the Bakery channel and working with marketing on activities to promote and grow CCC products * Translate market and customer needs into solution opportunities towards creating a new opportunity and product * Develop customer intimacy by working together with Global and Regional Commercial and sales team. * Increase Cargill presence and share at current and new customers determining the suitable value proposition * Build a deep understanding of competition in the compound and chocolate category * Provide Sales Volume forecasting and planning for the India region * Work on developing new products for the Indian market targeting the industries * Study and understand the technical process involved * Work for manufacturing the Cargill product inhouse & also work for customized product as per industry requirement. * Conceptualize and attain innovation workshops at customer R&D locations to trigger new projects * Competition tracking for New Products * Accountable to customize and promote mix brand portfolio based on identifying customer need * Monitoring the day to day commercial performance of each account within a portfolio * Progressive manage an opportunity pipeline, closing all possible opportunities * Identifying new solutions to offer clients to extend our existing services * Work closely with Customers, Plant, GEOS Bakery sales team, Manufacturing sites and Cargill’s global SMEs

Qualifications



Required Qualifications

: * PG in Science, Food Technology, MBA or a combination * Minimum 7 Years in Technical sales of food products including sales experience of minimum 2 years in Chocolate and compound Industry Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. * Good written and spoken communication skills and fluency in English. * Excellent interpersonal people skills & capability to play as a significant contributor in diversified teams and working with cross business team

Preferred Qualifications

: * Ability to work independently, to work effectively across functional lines, to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, to make consequential decisions that brings projects, investigations, and other activities to closure. Maturity to deal with start-up issues. * Willingness to get hands dirty * In depth knowledge of Products, Processes related to Food Industry, Food Ingredients * Presentation Skills
