Position Purpose & Summary



:
To manage and lead demand planning for edible oil categories, under the framework of Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

Principal Accountabilities









:







Demand Forecasting - 30% * Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function * Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results * Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions Integrated Business Planning - 20% * Provides Demand Planning Input through planner Adjusted forecast to Cargill Integrated Business Planning (CIBP) cycle * Integrate demand signal visibility by immersing with customers/consumer into a systematic sales and operations management process that intelligently evaluates alternatives, makes decisions and reacts * Record and track movement of demand drivers , assumptions, market opportunities and challenges & their impact on Business Plans. * Work with commercial team for Gap closure against budget plan Business Performance Management / Metrics - 20% * Provides direct input into setting Demand Planning metrics targets (Forecast Error, Bias etc.) * Create moderately complex internal/external benchmark reports and activities across, and may provide input to the development of an organizational roadmap to accommodate it * Provide input to analyze actual measure vs. target measures as per relevant performance metrices e.g. FE, Bias etc. * Provides input into developing action plans to close gaps between target and actual measures Sales & Operation Execution (S&OE) - 30% * Participate and drive Demand evolution plan through weekly S&OE process. * Communicate and set expectations for the demand execution

Qualifications



Required Qualifications

: * Graduate in Business/Operations Management * Knowledge of Statistical Forecasting technique, demand planning, market analytics and scenario planning * Strong facilitation skills are a must * Strong communication skills * Strong analytical background with a sound understanding of statistics * Excellent organizational skills, high degree of planning and attention to detail * Process driven; documents and maintain policies, procedures and key measures * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders & changing priorities; * Facilitate Decision making in dynamic business environment * Ability to rapidly learn new systems & procedures * Excellent time management, organization & interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

: * APICS or other supply chain certifications preferred
