This Full time position is located in

Kansas City, KS; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided. At Cargill we provide customized animal nutrition solutions to customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Principal accountabilities:

1.Insure that each formula specification is being followed properly per Quality Assurance guidelines. This would include shape, size, density, fat and digest application, etc. 2.Perform all preventative maintenance as instructed 3.Maintain extruder room, dryer area, fat application, and liquid digest area in a clean and orderly fashion. 4.Complete the extruder operator report daily in a correct, legible and complete manner. 5.Have quality control training and practice quality control at all times. 6.Monitor coating systems and ensure proper applications. 7.Follow all SQF level III guidelines 8.Monitor and Maintain CCP# 2 product temp at the extruder to 194 degrees F. In addition, these are other important tasks: Follow all safety procedures in the plant. ØFollow all quality requirements of each position assigned. ØMust be able to obtain fork lift license. ØFollow all GMP and operational sanitation practices in the plant. ØOther duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications



Requirements:



+ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

+ Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

+ High School diploma or Equivalent

+ Must be able to read/write English

+ Basic computer skills

+ Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling & pounding with hammer

+ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

+ Must be able to operate machinery

+ Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts

Preferred:



+ Able to perform physical job duties including work in confined spaces

+ Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

+ Ability to work in elevated areas

+ Able to operate heavy equipment

+ Forklift certified
