: Malchin, Germany. The position holder is responsible for maintenance management of the site. Activities include alignment & implementation of reliability excellence practices/programs; prevention, maintenance and repair, improvement of maintenance performance; maintenance project planning, contractor/vendor management; best practice application, training and support; and people management in the Maintenance Area. As member of the LMT the position holder has actively to support the site development.
+ Actively participate in the asset criticality assessment process and into the reliability analysis and the reliability improvements.
+ Responsible for aligning, deploying and executing group wide maintenance vision, strategy as well as direct program administration for the plant.
+ Oversees the execution of more complex repair procedures and tasks to ensure compliance with the fundamental plant reliability strategies, standards and practices.
+ Participate into the commissioning of equipment changes and into the Record Information Management process.
+ Lead and/or support audit compliances, root/cause analysis processes within the maintenance team, which includes tracking and reporting on established metrics.
+ Manages ongoing maintenance related projects utilizing a deep knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
+ Recommends/approves selection of contractors/vendors. Manages, analyzes more complex maintenance vendor issues and contract administration. Develops, maintains and applies consistent maintenance best practices (i.e. RCM methodology and FMEA to determine optimum defect elimination strategies).
+ Responsible for ensuring that for every maintenance related activity a Pre-Job Hazard Analysis (PJHA) is applied as preparation for the permit-to-work process.
+ In accordance with business/plant maintenance and reliability strategies, standards and practices supervises, monitors and reviews complex ongoing maintenance activities and records to ensure asset health and adherence to guidelines, codes, regulations, requirements and overall production quality.
+ Actively participates into the definition and improvement of reliability analysis and improvement methods.
+ Responsible for the people planning process, including workforce planning, people selection, people development process, talent management and succession planning.
+ Responsible for the maintenance skills and methods development.
+ BSc or MSc in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical engineering) or equivalent extensive practical experience.
+ Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification preferred.
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in managing maintenance or engineering work processes.
+ Work experience in high volume and capital intensive industry, food and/or chemical/petrochemical industry, capital intensive production facilities.
+ Familiar with safe operations work systems (LOTOTO, PJHA and permit to work).
+ Leading people & teams.
+ Strong verbal & written communication skills. Fluent German and English language knowledge (verbal and written).
+ A resilient, well organized personality with a high amount of self-initiative and an independent, target oriented style of working.
