As the Global Marketing Director Beauty you play a leading role to drive profitable growth for Cargill Beauty by identifying and leading actionable market opportunities developed from internal/external innovation capacities/possibilities, market information, customer and consumer insights. You are responsible for the building and management of all personal care related marketing functions and for leading innovation according to the personal care platform business plans strategy, vision and goals.

Major Tasks



+ You identify market/ customers/ consumer needs/ trends in order to make proactive proposals of new products/services/innovation briefs for R&D while actively looking at Cargill extended portfolio and technology

+ Together with R&D you identify potential external partnerships, you follow-up on the innovation stage-gate process and own launch plan and procedure, launching products on the market following a defined marketing plan

+ You define and coordinate with the global marketing team all operational marketing activities, including customer analysis/ recommendations (brands, positioning…) and meetings, marketing tools (brochures, presentations, digital), formulation kits and concept together with R&D and sales.

+ As part of the overall personal care platform strategy you (co-)develop and/or implement a go-to-market (marketing) strategy (market data, customer segmentation, competition mapping, value proposition, competitive advantage) together with the broader beauty commercial team

+ You manage/oversee and coordinate all beauty related communications including press releases, articles, advertising, social networks, trade shows, customer seminars, etc.

+ You ensure that all people processes are executed and decisions are made at the appropriate places for a moderate, diversified workforce;

+ You establish the overall workforce planning and strategy for the organization and ensure business objectives are achieved and sustained through effective people practices

+ You deliver, complete and oversee Cargill performance measurement plans (PMP) and establish development goals aligned with business and commercial management strategy

+ You manage and develop a team of four across the globe

Qualifications



+ Business/Marketing and/or Technical background (Bachelor or above)

+ Minimum 15 years of Marketing Management experience, including experience in the personal care industry

+ Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

+ Strong analytical and technology development skills

+ Proven experience on how to get things done within a matrix organization

+ Experience with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams

+ Ability to translate industry/ market and technology trends into new opportunities and solutions

+ Ability to effectively communicate and partner with customers and internal stakeholders

+ Solutions focused mindset

+ Good interpersonal skills

+ Adaptable and broad perspective

+ Persuasive and ability to deal with ambiguity

+ Fluent in English. Additional languages are plus.
