The Aqua Sales/Account Director Asia positionis responsible for development and short/long-term execution of the salesvision for branded feed products with all customer accounts in order to drivesignificant business/financial impact and maximize opportunities for the AquaProduct Line / Feed Segment / Cargill’s Starch, Sweeteners & TexturizingBusiness Group. The role is accountable for building, developing, andmaintaining internal/external customer/client relationships; as well as,research and identification of customer’s needs to create solutions for allcustomers’ account(s) that will drive significant business/financial impact andwill maximize opportunities within the Asia Pacific region. Work activitiesinclude developing supply chain capability; identifying business partnering opportunitiesto support service execution in the current business model; establishment andfollow-up of field testing, developing & presenting solutionsrecommendations; structuring, selling, & executing the sales/accountcontracts, and setting targets &measuring results. Work activities includeglobal account management responsibilities with executive and generalmanagement of aquafeed industry leaders including Cargill Aqua Nutrition (CQN), _Charoen_ Pokphand Group( _CP_ ), Haid and others. Build, Develop& Maintain Internal/External Customer/Client Relationships: Establish, develop and build strongworking relationships across the aqua feed industry in Asia with emphasis onstrategic & highly complex customers. Targeted interactions with executive and general management, operations,R&D, procurement, and formulation teams as well as key industry influencersin both the academia and private sectors. Manage global relationship with strategic customers and prospects in theaquafeed and shrimp industries and provide leadership and partnering with theaqua commercial team to acquire new business from prospective strategiccustomers outside of Asia. Collaboratewith integrated functional areas (eg. customer service, planning, supply chain,plant operations, etc.) to ensure delivery and full execution of the brandpromise in all product and service parameters. Achievement of Performance Targets;Measurement & Results: Responsiblefor introducing new business, generating profitable new accounts, and growth ofexisting targeted accounts through identification and recommending newopportunities related to customer needs. Provide support for the developmentand execution of annual sales strategy ensuring understanding of brandrequirements, strategic importance, and market & pricing tactics. Drive execution and delivery of defined &quantifiable sales targets through implementation of detailed sales planfocusing on both personal accounts and support of other team members asrequired. Research & Identify Customer/BusinessNeeds including Solution Identification & Proposal Development/SalesExecution/Value Optimization & Technical Strategy: Utilize complex industry, farmmanagement, feed manufacturing and nutritional knowledge, to develop, lead anddeliver on complex customer solutions to strategic global customers inside andoutside of Asia (including ration formulations, limited consulting,understanding of risk management, etc.). Provide support for customer service issues, new product development,marketing strategies, and other key value propositions using recognizedindustry and product expertise.

General Management of Aqua product line Asian employees and operations

: Responsible for working with employees,contract employees, suppliers, vendors and functional resources to ensureefficient operations of all business functions (contracting, invoicing, sales,logistics, inventory management, VAT, regulatory, etc.). Establishment of expectations, measurements,and performance feedback for employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure fullexecution of the brand promise on all product and service parameters. Strategize, develop and implement long-termsolutions which increase overall value and profitability business delivers toCargill and customers.


Minimum Requi



* Bachelor’sDegree (as appropriate for country norms). * Minimum8 years of experience in business-to-business sales with animal feed industry. * Abilityto develop others in sales roles and manage sales activity. * Broadknowledge of the animal feed industry in Southeast Asia. * Demonstratedability to understand and communicate technical data and information. * Abilityto manage conflict – internal and external * Proven ability to develop relationships and workin a cross-functional, matrix organization where building alignment and trustis critical to success. * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicatethrough written, verbal and presentation skills with multiple levels of Cargilland customer organizations. * Ability to build, lead, delegate and workeffectively in a collaborative team environment. * Ability to lead through influence * Demonstrated ability to manage multiplepriorities and organize/prioritize to meet business objectives. * Self- starter with strong independent decisionmaking and analytical skills. Attentionto detail. * Excellent organizational and time managementskills. * Strong business/financial acumen. Familiarity with pricing and risk management. * Fluencyin both written/ verbal English and at least one of the following languages: Vietnamese,Indonesian, Thai, Filipino, or Manderin.





ed Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or advanced degree in animal/aquanutrition, veterinary, agricultural or aquaculture. * Minimum 2 years of experience with internationalbusiness. * Minimum 5 years of sales experience in/with theaquaculture industry. * Experience in sales as a supplier with theaquaculture industry (production aquaculture/animal feed industry). * Experience working with swine and layerindustries in SEA. * Experience with successful commercialization ofnew to market products.

+ Solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes and theinterrelationship with Commercial teams
