DS Senior Analyst

Position Purpose & Summary This role is responsible for the decision support capability, aligning to global finance requirements in addition to enterprise or business specific requirements for financially relevant data and solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape. This role is responsible to identify standardization and process improvement opportunities across subgroups in the area of data/report structures, dashboards, reporting process. He/she will partner with core management information, DS managers to drive consistency and achieve sustainable, repeatable, effective financial solutions/datasets wherever possible. In addition, this position will be expected to partner closely with the DS managers to ensure consistency in leveraging shared services across the subgroups. This role will also establish and implement the governance structure/process on demand management across subgroups. This position requires strong financial, business acumen, influencing and change management skills.
50% Continuous Improvement across subgroups
+ Understand legacy systems, identify the impact on downstream reporting due to non-finance data governance, and escalate issues to Business LT.
+ Provides input and identifies opportunities to improve data integrity and usefulness for effective management reporting and implement as appropriate.
+ Works with core management information team members, DS managers to define configuration for data alignment and drive consistency to achieve sustainable, repeatable, effective financial solutions/datasets wherever possible.
+ Leads efforts in collaborating with the other DS managers to deliver value from improvement opportunities.
+ Supports and implements process simplifications, automations and enhancements to standardize and improve management reporting efficiency.
+ Review existing reports/dashboards to standardize, simplify, structure and govern existing and future management reports across business group (more information with less reports).
+ Coordinate with the APAC CBS Migration Lead and DS managers to ensure consistency across subgroups in leveraging FSS for management reporting opportunities. 25% Change Leadership, through Process Optimization and Technology Driven Decision Making
+ Bring the outside in and seek to operate at the top of the profession.
+ Capable of initiating change and driving results.
+ Skilled at leveraging financial and business systems, technical platforms (e.g. CDP. GFP, self-service analytics tools etc.) to improve management reporting efficiency. 20% Business Partnership
+ Provide thought leadership on technology needs for management reporting.
+ Ability to design process/structure across business groups to manage report demands.
+ Provides expertise and training to DS team members in data cleansing, data visualization areas wherever required.
+ Ability to understand business demands and partner effectively with Corporate/business FP&A, GMs, MDs for management reporting and data needs, defining which performance indicators will be needed to support strategic goals, measure business performance and the frequency. 5% Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education, Experience, Skills Minimum Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
+ 7 years’ experience of accounting or finance experience
+ English proficiency
+ Understanding and experience working with JDE, SAP
+ Advanced Excel, data visualization and data cleansing skills
+ Process improvement mindset
+ Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, execute and track progress
+ Demonstrated flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
+ Demonstrates high degree of curiosity, willing to invest time and energy into self-learning. Seeks different points of view and perspectives.
+ Demonstrated change agility
+ Strong problem solving, analytical thinking and data driven
+ Ability to communicate, influence and build trust with the stakeholders and team members
+ Self-starter, proactive and demonstrated adaptability
+ Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Preferred Required Qualifications
+ Professional accounting designation like CA, CPA equivalent
+ Demonstrated ability to support a team culture of continuous improvement and process optimization mindset
+ Experience with multiple business and/or international business experience
