Description As the Continuous Improvement Specialist you analyse processes and launch proposals to modify them thus increasing the profit of the business through the highest quality, lowest cost and in a safe way. Main Operations processes you are accountable for are production planning and execution, maintenance, supply chain, warehousing, safety and quality. Data for analysis will is collected from different tools and data sets or directly in the workshop. You are also accountable for implementing new work processes and follow up. Your objective is to identify new opportunities, design and develop projects to increase productivity and improve stability and effectiveness of the work process.
+ You create data analysis to identify potential Continuous Improvement Projects in operations, product quality, organizational, supply chain, maintenance, or safety as long as it is based on the Lean and 6 Sigma approach, using the Cargill Manufacturing Excellence tools and focus areas;
+ You develop key control parameters for imbedding the changing in the process and work methods;
+ You collect information, import data into the tool, report it to the direct Manager and decide on the savings, which can be made;
+ You design a Plan for Continuous Improvement training and communication;
+ You prepare presentations, train the plant personnel, attend professional seminars and then conduct trainings to the plant employees later, like in Lean and 6 Sigma;
+ You also lead Kaizen, RCA, 6 Sigma and 5Why workshops for Production.
+ Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering
+ 3-5 years of experience in process environment or operational environment
+ Green Belt Lean Six Sigma or start to training
+ Good communication skills to influence team members through new process implementation
+ Highly responsible individual and greatly inspired to improve with drive to challenge the status Quo.
+ Excellent administrative skills
+ Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
+ Commitment for change
+ Have oversight of a number of different projects at different stages of development and project management skills
+ Fluent in both written and spoken English and/or Dutch
