Job location: Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands This role is part ofour Analytical Chemistry Centre of Expertise (CoE) for the Food Safety, Qualityand Regulatory (FSQR) function which supports all business units acrossCargill’s platform Food Ingredients & Bio-Industrial (FIBI) in the EMEAregion. As a Rapid Technology (RT) Application Implementation Associate youwill provide support in the implementation,deployment and maintenance of different rapid technologies at specificlocations across FIBI EMEA region. The main focus within RT is on the Near-Infrared(NIR) technology for offline (benchtop) as well as online applications. Yourresponsibility will include close cooperation with Coordinators and RT Lead inorder to ensure that all new applications are implemented in line with bestpractices and are documented and kept up-to-date.


+ Implement rapid technologies measurements systems;

+ Collaborate with production leads in order todefine the process changes necessary for efficient build out of RT models;

+ Create required sampling and analysis programs;

+ Actively contribute to our RT model calibration;

+ Organize validation and operational validation;

+ Provide training;

+ Implement governance;

+ Troubleshoot model and system issues.



+ Minimum Bachelor’s degree inChemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline;

+ Some formal training in FoodScience, Food Technology or related fields is strongly preferred;

+ At least 2 years’experience working in a laboratory environment;

+ Some experience with Near-Infrared(NIR) technology;

+ Proven project managementskills with the ability to apply a structured, disciplined approach toplanning, administering and completing projects successfully;

+ Continuous improvementtraining & experience Knowledge;

+ Fluent in English, otherEuropean languages are an advantage.
