Position Purpose & Summary: Commercial Sales Lead has the responsibility for building and establishing a world class supply chain and customer facing organisation working with assets, third country supply chains and approved supply chain service providers for Cargill Protein Europe(CPE) key strategic customer. This role is a member of the CPE Leadership team. The position exists to have a common leadership, strategy, and alignment to creating distinctive value. The role will lead CPE key strategic customer's BU team in Europe through a group of direct reports across the UK, France and supply assets in England, France, Thailand and Poland, setting the strategy for the business, supporting the key strategic customer's business leadership team and providing alignment, coaching and guidance. The role has the responsibility for commercial sales targets and necessary capital investments to match the customers growth, in order to exceed CPE AOE and ROGI targets. Commercial Sales Lead will lead planning processes for long term manufacturing capacity expansion for the European business, along with a wider supplier expansion of capabilities, which compliment the needs of a differentiated commercial sales portfolio and customer segmentation, notably in added value chicken and new alternative proteins. Commercial Sales Lead will lead a complex business and strategy for the BU, spanning multiple product categories and capabilities, growing supply chains and profitable relationships from multiple EU (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Netherlands, France etc) and third country (Thailand, Brazil, ) meat suppliers from both Cargill and third party assets. The role will develop the talent required to successfully execute their goals.

+ Commercial Sales Lead is responsible for leading, directing, and developing Cargill’s business relationship with key strategic customer in the poultry category across European. Specifically:
+ Customer Management and interface at senior level.
+ Liaison person with key strategic customer's European Supply Chain. Ensure alignment of strategies and understanding key strategic customer's key priorities in all areas, including commercial, innovation and sustainability, to optimize business effectiveness. Deepen relationships in all European markets to ensure broad support, understanding of Cargill and unencumbered access.
+ Manage the day to day operation of the CPE key strategic customer's business through its business leadership team.
+ Risk management/other: With key strategic customer's finance and treasury teams, continue to explore risk management solutions that meet their needs and create stable and competitive pricing. _15% Growth_
+ Collaborate with colleagues across all functions to create compelling value for key strategic customer in areas like brand trust enhancement, menu board development, competitive pricing, sustainability and continuous improvement in product quality and process development. _15% Relationship Management_
+ Member of appropriate key strategic customer's forums bringing thought leadership to these groups and enabling closer and broader understanding of how other suppliersin the system operate. Create network to improve efficient working and communication channels. _10% Leadership and Talent Management_
+ Lead the development of commercial and supply chain talent and act as a pipeline for the BU/enterprise.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum 15 years’ experience in Commercial or Supply Chain related job (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Procurement/Sourcing) in the Food Industry
+ University Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Supply Chain or related field
+ Experience with working in a multinational/-cultural environment
+ Experience with working in a large matrix organization set-up
+ Leadership experience (managing through others, influencing, developing)
+ Experience and proven track record in project and change management (broad scope and cross-functional)
+ Experience and knowledge of Integrated Supply Chain Processes
+ Strong team builder and team player (Player/Coach principle)
+ Strong communication, influencing and motivation skills
+ Poultry Industry experience
