Position Purpose & Summary: As a Senior Self-Service Analytics Coach, you will work with a small team responsible for enabling a thriving Self-Service Analytics (SSA) culture and community at Cargill. This role is a heavy on training, coaching, education, collaboration, and community interaction. This role work with employees of all skill levels to help them see, understand and work with data using Cargill’s SSA toolkit, including Tableau, PowerBI and Alteryx, and develop a self-sustaining healthy community. Key to the success of this position will be a courageous and innovative approach to helping others solve problems and excellent communication skills, patience, and a sincere curiosity. Individuals who possess a self-motivated working style with attention to detail will thrive in this environment and culture.

Principal Accountabilities:

_Coach, Mentor, and Change Agent_

+ Coach individuals and teams in the use of SSA tooling, including on-boarding

+ Consult on technical/tool related areas such as performance, tool selection, adoption, and best practices

+ Develop and implement methods for educating at scale

+ Build a culture that understands data and recognize how to use data for decision-making

+ Innovate and challenge the status quo as to how the SSA team serves the community _Foster a foundational, self-supporting community_

+ Find, connect, and create analytical talent and culture

+ Actively participate in tool-based user groups and online communities

+ Facilitate crowd sourced support between community members and break down organization silos _Empower our community with modern analytics platforms_

+ Assist with platform support, administration, and operation


Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

+ 5 years of experience in data-centric roles

+ 5 years of experience with data visualization practices and tools such as Power BI or Tableau

+ 2 years of experience with data modeling practices and tools

+ Innovative, fast-paced, and adaptable when facilitating events and outcomes

+ Experience with the Agile methodology

+ Experience working across multiple time zones with multiple cultures

+ Proven ability to self-learn

+ Strong aptitude for networking and ability to generate enthusiasm

+ Ability to tell compelling data-based stories

+ Ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with analytics platform components such as Tableau Server; Power BI Cloud Service; Power BI Premium; Alteryx Server;

+ Experience growing a culture of self-service analytics

+ Experience with predictive and statistical modeling

+ Experience with data engineering and big data technologies

+ Diverse work experiences across multiple lines of business and industries

+ Experience with core business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Pricing)
