CSD is Cargill's Corporate Strategy and Development department responsible for strategy development, mergers & acquisitions, and new business development at the corporate and business unit level. CSD has a dual mission to deliver impactful recommendations regarding Cargill's toughest business challenges, and to develop future leaders. The CSD career path leads from Analyst to Associate to Manager based on performance and interest.

* Variety: You will work on corporate development projects (including acquisitions, divestitures, joint-ventures, investments) across Cargill's broad array of businesses in the Asia Pacific region and globally * A global experience: You will think about how to manage the risks and leverage the opportunities presented by the biggest global issues facing the world today – from food security, food safety, and sustainability to global trade flows and new technologies and business models. * Exposure to Cargill’s senior leadership: you will work directly and frequently alongside Cargill’s senior executives. * A strong general management foundation: In CSD, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and lead high-performing project teams, hone advanced financial & corporate development knowledge and general management skills, and develop a network with colleagues from operations, finance, trading, and sales.

Practice Areas

CSD team members are specialized in one of two practice areas: Corporate Strategy or Corporate Development. Corporate Strategy professionals focus on strategy development at the corporate level and work directly with Enterprise Strategy Leads at the Group and Business levels of the organization. Corporate Development professionals focus on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures at every level of the organization. Individual project assignments are based on Cargill’s business needs, as well as personal capabilities and development goals. CSD Asia Pacific office in Singapore is currently recruiting a Manager (VP Equivalent) from an investment bank, private equity firm, boutique advisory, Big 4 or multi-national corporation for the Corporate Development practice area. Qualifications RequiredQualifications: * Superioracademic track record at a recognized university * Minimumof 6 years of work experience in an investment bank, private equity firm, boutiqueadvisory, Big 4 or a multi-national corporation (corporate development orbusiness development function) with direct exposure to Asia or 2-4 yearsrelevant experience post completion of an MBA (MBA is not a pre-requisite) * Provenability to lead teams across diverse backgrounds and ability to work with teamsacross functions and businesses on transactions, including senior leadership(CXO level) * Prior experience in managing atransaction process and leading a transaction team, including playing anintegral part during the due diligence process * Strongvaluation knowledge (particularly discounted cash flow) and strongunderstanding of financial and accounting principles * Abilityto oversee financial modelling efforts, including providing guidance to juniorteam members and ensuring consistent quality and accuracy of analysis * Excellentverbal and written communication skills in English (fluency in a major Asianlanguage is highly attractive) * Demonstratedability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization andwork collaboratively in a team environment, including providing support andguidance to junior team members * Activelyparticipate in one or more departmental activities such as recruitment,professional development, community activities and ongoing training * “Cando” attitude and a willingness to learn from and contribute to a high-performanceteam * Willingnessto travel regionally from time to time
