Position Purpose & Summary: The Business Systems Manager is accountable for driving the implementation of business system initiatives through Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM), off-CTRM systems solutions andoptimising and improvingoverall business systems solutions and reporting efficiency. You will partner with various functions and stakeholders, to ensure processes, data, and information are established and streamlined for successful deployments of various new business initiatives. This role sits within the Business Implementation Management (BIM) team and will play a key role in enabling our business infrastructure to support rapid prototyping, and potential transfer into BAU of new business projects. The team’s mandate is to develop, coordinate, and implement the framework, process, and infrastructure through Opportunity Accelerator (OA) and BLUESEA system landscape to support business / commercial growth to meet financial goals through agile and controlled risk taking. The Business Systems Manager will work with the Business Implementation Manager, and Business Project Manager to drive the mandate of the team.

Principal Accountabilities:

50% - Be the champion and key person driving all price / trade / P&L / risk related CTRM implementation initiatives:

+ Derivatives Trades BAU (Phase 1) bugs and enhancement issues.

+ Phase 1 enhancements (Phase 1 ) implementation, documentation, testing and coordination.

+ Physical Bulk Trades (Phase 2) and (Physical retail) 3 system implementations, documentation, testing, and coordination. 35% - Drive systems implementation of commercial opportunity / projects while working closely with the business project manager:

+ Develop, test, coordinate and maintain appropriate infrastructure and systems to support the portfolio management process.

+ Achieve successful implementation and provide rapid prototyping framework. 15% -

and improve overall business systems solutions and reporting efficiency around CTRM processes:

+ Ensure automation of reporting tools.

+ Work across different functional teams to streamline and standardise process within teams and across teams.

+ Achieve accuracy and timeliness of reports to ensure time and manpower savings.


Required Education & Experience:

+ Bachelors’ Degree in Business Related Field or equivalent experience.

+ 5 to 10 years of relevant business / industry work experience in a functional area (finance / risk / trade operations) in the commodity trading business.

+ Ability to influence, challenge, and communicate with at all levels of the organisation.

+ Strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills (both written and verbal), with a solid ability in writing, modelling and documenting business requirements.

+ Ability to face the business with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

+ Solid understanding of project principles

+ Proven ability to capture business requirements from key stakeholders.

+ Ability to embrace and drive change in the organisation.

+ Open to integrate and operate in a multi-cultural, diverse, and inclusive mindset environment.

+ Ability to motivate and influence people, drive accountability, and achieve results.

+ Experience in successful collaboration in complex multi discipline projects.

+ Possess cross cultural agility.

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and possess active inquiry skills.

+ Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and make decisions that impact business results.

+ Possess problem solving, attention to detail, and organisation skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

+ Proficiency in any programming language. Preferred Skills & Experience:

+ Degree in Business Related Field, or MBA.

+ Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with senior business stakeholders in China.

+ Experience in multinational companies.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced trading / financial environment.

+ Strong background in business process design and implementation in a dynamic commodity trading business.

+ Experience in implementing IT processes, systems and organisational changes.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in utilising change management tools and processes to initiate or support change.
