rief Description

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Generalist supports both the Cargill Protein North America Growth Enablement and Channels capabilities in delivering the technology roadmap and improving operational effectiveness.

Principal Accountabilities

_50% Operational Efficiency_ * Drive IT operational improvements across partners. o Drive consistent technology results. o Work with internal IT to project capacity constraints and resolve. o Work to close gaps in support models. * Manage IT consumption and work with internal vendors to optimize IT investment. * Sustain business line application inventory and capabilities matrix. * Perform incident analysis across the business units to identify areas of investment opportunity or service level escalation. * Partner with the business to identify process optimization opportunities to limit technology customization and minimize technology debt. _25%: Business Partnering and Relationship & Service Management_ * Serves as a complementary point of contact for business partnering activities. * Coordinates with business partners to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement across process, data & technology, and assists them in developing business justification. * Assist business partners in the successful introduction and adoption of new solutions and technologies to enable business process. Monitors adoption through metrics driven consumption and satisfaction. * Reviews service performance against SLAs. Where service levels are not met, works with service owners to implement service improvement plans (SIPs) to achieve restoration of service to expected service levels. * Assists in resolving moderately complex problems and incidents. * Promotes collaboration across business relationship managers, technology, and business teams to implement scalable and stable solutions. _25%: Project Coordinator_ * Work with Project Management Office to improve portfolio reporting and management. * Provides general insight and support to senior team members in evaluating feasibility of developing a solution for the business request including identifying constraints. * Develop a change calendar to manage planful change, mitigating impact based on business cycles. * Maintains and compiles inputs required for business case development, e.g. process metrics. * Collects, compiles and documents moderately complex business requirements for solutions. * Creates value reports based on the realization of benefits (revenue opportunities, cost savings, synergies, etc.) once a project is implemented. * Reviews and submits completed project request forms to work intake and demand management groups. * Keep business unit contacts appraised of implementation changes for the solutions. _“This position is posted internally as well as externally.”_

Minimum Required Qualifications * BA/BS in MIS, Business or equivalent experience. * 3 years of IT and business / industry work experience. * Experience building and documenting business case for technology spend. * Financial acumen. Working knowledge of project budgets, forecasting, and actuals. * Ability to apply IT industry knowledge to real-world business situations. Proactively seeks information and insights for industry, internal and external experts. * Ability to travel up to 25% * Ability to speak English fluently both in verbal and written format to be able to effectively communicate abstract, conceptual information in an effective manner * Ability to translate data, process and technology concepts into business terms.

* Experience driving continuous improvement by processes or work structures. * Ability to assess and analyze large data sets and draw insightful conclusions. Ability to define and use metrics (scorecards, trend analysis, etc.). * Comfortable with navigating ambiguity, building trusting relationships, and a self-starter. * Drive for results. Ability to complete initiatives through Cargill Global IT and 3rd party vendors. * Demonstrated business acumen. Ability to identify and anticipate business needs, expectations and requirements for technology-based solutions. Demonstrated success in proactively solving business-related problems. * Ability to derive technology requirements to enable business capabilities. * Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology partners. Preferred Qualifications
