Sustainable Soy in Europe and North America
Supporting customer requirements
We continue to partner with customers to meet their expectations for transparency and traceability in our soy supply chain.
We participate in soy certification programs that meet European Union-recognized sustainability criteria, including the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) program, which independently verifies a range of sustainability criteria, and we participate in the 2BSvs (Biomass and Biofuel Sustainability voluntary scheme), which looks at similar factors. We also supply soy that meets our proprietary Triple S (Sustainably Sourced & Supplied) independently verified sustainability certification program. Learn more on the Soy Collaboration & Certification page.
In the U.S., where soybean production utilizes environmental best practices, most growers participate in certified and audited sustainability and conservation programs. We supported development of the U.S. Soybean Sustainability Assurance Protocol, led by the U.S. Soybean Export Council, to provide a standardized, quantifiable approach that is audited by third parties and includes international certification. The protocol details the regulations, processes and management practices required to ensure sustainable soybean production.
We continue working with farmers, customers, industry partners and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and further advance sustainability across our soy supply chain.
