YourOpportunity

We have an excitingopportunity for you to join the Cargill Agriculture Supply Chain (CASC), GrainOperations team as a Regional Operations Assistant for our grain storage andhandling facilities at Grong Grong and Stockinbingal.Reporting to the RegionalOperations Manager, this is a busy, hands on permanent role, you will beresponsible for leading bunker operations and implementing safe and efficientwork practicesacrossall areas of the operations onsite. You will have come froman operations background and confident of delivering training and contribute tomaintaining a high level of safety, inventory management control andoperational efficiency at all times. Keyresponsibilities will include:

+ LeadingBunker operations and work with site staff in the efficient and safe executionof all aspects of site operations involved whilst receiving, storing and outturning product from site;

+ Providingtraining and supervision to staff and contractors in key activities onsiteincluding but not limited to tarping, General Bunker Operations, plantoperations including DOGS & Stackers, Elevators and Conveyors, Silos, FrontEnd Loaders, Site Vehicles grain sampling and weighing equipment etc.

+ Leading the execution of risk managementsystems and programs for both EH&S & FSQR and inventory managementprograms at sites including but not limited to Safety Programs, bunkerinspection and tarp management, waste grain identification, maintaining andrecording, pest management and cut off and weigh up programs.

+ Takingan active role with the maintenance & reliability program for the sites toensure we can attend to commercial-logistic volume expectations, optimizingplant equipment capacities and availability by proactive maintenance programwith reliability culture in place ensuring that we are maintaining safe andefficient assets.

Qualifications



Allabout you

With a background in Agriculture/Grainoperations you willbringyour proven operational skills and experience.

+ Ability to supervise Contractors and administer operational training on Standard Operating Procedures (WI);

+ Ability to drive and promote a safety culture which aligns with Cargill’s values;

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;

+ An ability to work in a changing work environment focused on reliability and quality;

+ Ability to work in a team environment and travel to the other sites as required;

+ Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements;

+ Motor Vehicle License is mandatory;

+ Minimum Secondary School qualifications (preferred);

+ Confined Space certificate(preferred);

+ First Aid certificate (Min level 2)(preferred);

+ Front end loader license (preferred);
