Supply Chain Management Trainee

Position Purpose & Summary As a Supply Chain Management Trainee, you will become a professional in the supply chain of Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate. During the traineeship you will receive a hands-on rounded experience working alongside experienced professionals and will have contact with customers, suppliers, transport providers externally and internally with our production, commercial and finance teams. In the Supply Chain Management Trainee Program, part of the European Graduate Program, you could expect some or all of the following experiences within the first two years with Cargill:
+ Initial assignment to a business unit or function
+ On-going formal soft skill development and technical training
+ Participation in a project to provide you with leadership experience.
+ Networking with international colleagues During your traineeship you will be involved in different functions on rotating basis: planning, customer service, logistics, sourcing execution & warehousing. At the end of your traineeship and depending on your performance and proved potential you could expect to receive higher responsibilities within the Supply Chain function or elsewhere in Cargill.
_50%_ Assignment on projects as (leading) team member, troubleshooting, training of personnel. _15%_ Development of skills in matters of projects, supply chain, operations, finance, commercial, safety and quality. _20%_ Process improvement:
+ With some direction, actively searches for opportunities to optimize planned costs and any other cost saving opportunities and analyze unexpected costs to identify root causes and define action plan.
+ With some oversight, conduct process improvement analysis to search for process efficiency opportunities and deliver data driven recommendations
+ With the team, think about digitalization improvements to innovate work processes _10%_ Participate in the Cargill European Graduate program through seminars, visits to European site and facilities, trainings. _5%_ Performance management / research & analysis:
+ With Process Improvement manager, analyzes all relevant Supply Chain Data
+ May participate in defining reporting needs and development of these reports.
+ Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain and relevant engineering background in Industrial Engineering or similar;
+ up to 2 years of working experience;
+ excellent communication skills in English (fluent); Dutch will be considered as an advantage;
+ creativity and innovative approach in building and/or improving systems and processes.

+ self-starter and fast learner;
+ highly motivated and able to work independently;
+ teamwork and ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team;

+ willingness to travel and flexibility to relocate to other countries;
+ excellent computer skills: MS Office, excel specifically, SharePoint, SAP
