On two occasions, more than 30 employees spent time cleaning up a lake that serves as the sole source of drinking water for the Daund village and surrounding areas. The team’s goal was to resurrect the lake and make it more suitable for consumption.
A group of more than 160 employees came together to convert an area of dry land called the Nilgiri plot into a green patch. The plot had been used as a dumping space for general waste from the facility. The team put in 900 man hours over 15 days to clean up the area and remove garbage.
