Cargill invests $10 million to upgrade poultry processing facility in Thailand

Cargill is investing $10 million (about THB 300 million) to upgrade its integrated poultry processing facility in Saraburi, Thailand, which produces a range of cooked poultry products for food service chains, convenience stores, food manufacturers, retailers and distributors across Asia, Europe and North America.

Cargill and McDonald’s verify sustainable beef in Canada

A McDonald’s pilot project in Canada has successfully tracked nearly 9,000 head of cattle from birth to beef through a fully verified supply chain, resulting in the equivalent of 2.4 million beef patties for McDonald’s Canada.

Dr. Temple Grandin, internationally recognized expert on animal welfare, narrates a video tour of a beef processing plant. Dr. Grandin has a long history of working with Cargill and is one of the leading experts in autism, while she herself is autistic.
