Every day, our employees and retirees around the world lend their time and talent around the world to advance access to health and nutrition programming, support innovation in education, and protect our global natural resources.
Collectively and individually, we build homes and schools, mentor youth, educate farmers, clean up shorelines, feed hungry people and support economic development.
Three focus areas
Our locations and Cargill Cares Councils plan company-sponsored volunteer opportunities that align with our business and fit into our strategic focus areas: nutrition and health, education and environmental stewardship.
Nutrition and health
We support long-term solutions to hunger, increasing access to health education and basic health care in developing and emerging countries, and improving youth nutrition and wellness.
Education
We support innovative programs that improve academic achievement and increase access to education for socio-economically disadvantaged children. Our commitment to education also includes grant making to selected higher education institutions, a higher education employee-matching-gifts program, and post-secondary educational scholarships.
Environmental stewardship
We support projects that promote responsible agriculture management practices, improve responsible stewardship of natural resources and educate community members about conservation and preservation.
