Cargill collaborates with farmers, food makers and industrial customers to bring new ideas to the table.

Technoserve

TechnoServe’s mission is to help entrepreneurial people in poor areas of the developing world build businesses and create income and opportunities for their families. Through this partnership dating back to 2000, Cargill has provided more than $1.5 million as well as technical volunteer support for select projects.

In 2010, Cargill and TechnoServe launched an entrepreneur development program in Venezuela. The program is designed to identify promising small businesses and help them overcome obstacles to growth.

Cargill is also working with TechnoServe in Africa to boost yields and incomes for smallholder farmers. Cargill and TechnoServe are working together in Zambia and Mozambique to reach more than 37,000 of these farmers, providing extension services including training, inputs and other support.
