FoodCargill Foods, located in High River, Alberta, is a fully integrated beef processing facility, with slaughter, fabrication, rendering and hide operations all under one roof. The plant processes 4,000 head of cattle each day. Approximately sixty percent of product is exported and forty percent is sold domestic. Cargill Foods has sales offices in High River and Toronto, Ontario. Regional meat consultants are located across Canada. Cargill Foods – Case Ready operates a multi-species case ready meat packaging facility in Toronto, Ontario. The plant occupies 167,000 sq feet and is customer-dedicated. The case ready facility was acquired 11 years ago and was the first case ready operation in North America for Cargill. Today, Toronto produces case ready beef, pork, ground beef, poultry and sausage products. Cargill Foods services retail stores throughout the province of Ontario. Sun Valley Foods consists of a chicken processing plant in London, Ontario and a hatchery in Jarvis, Ontario. The plant processes 80,000 chickens each day. The hatchery on average produces 150,000 chicks per day, which are further processed at the London facility. The business is a major supplier of processed chicken to the Canadian food service industry.

Some of the best barley in the world is grown within a one hundred-kilometer radius of this malthouse, which has an annual capacity of 220,000 metric tons. In 1998, Cargill became a joint venture partner in Prairie Malt Limited. Cargill Specialty Canola Oils (CSCO) is an industry leader in developing and marketing premium canola oils that meet the demands of end users. CSCO, which markets IMC varieties, is part of Cargill's worldwide food processing business. IndustrialCargill Sweeteners supplies a variety of nutritive sweeteners, from corn syrups to sucrose to customized blends, used in beverages, baked goods, candies, cereals, prepared foods and more. Canadian terminals are located in Toronto, Ontario; Abbotsford British Columbia; Calgary, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec. Cargill's high-quality corn, waxy maize, and tapioca starches are used to thicken, texturize and coat diverse products from baked goods to meats to marshmallows. Cargill Starch's expertise and broad ingredient knowledge works with customers to help solve formulation challenges and create better product solutions.Cargill Oil Seed Processing facility processes 2,400 tons per day of canola out of Clavet, Saskatchewan. The facility is the largest soft-seed plant in North America. The processing facility produces canola oil and specialty canola oils as well as canola meal for the domestic North American and world markets. Canola oil is healthy vegetable oil used in salad oil, frying and processed food applications. Canola meal is a high protein feed product used by the livestock industry. Saskferco Products Inc., located in Saskatchewan, is one of North America's largest producers of granular urea and anhydrous ammonia. The facility produces 2,850 tons per day of granular urea, plus 1,850 tons per day of anhydrous ammonia (NH3), for shipment to North American customers. Saskferco is a Cargill joint venture company. Cargill Salt has sales offices in Montreal, Quebec, Pickering and Sussex, Ontario. Cargill salt works to make winter driving safety a reality by providing bulk de-icing salt when you need it most. In addition to bulk de-icers, Cargill Salt also makes enhanced and alternative de-icers that melt ice and snow, while reducing the potential for damage to roads and bridges. In addition Cargill Salt offers commercial, industrial and consumer salt products.
