Cargill has been active in the Ukraine for over 20 years, with locations in Kiev, Kakhovka, Kutsovka, Braginovka, Balakleya, Korystovka and in the Lviv region. We purchase grains and oilseeds from farmers both for local processing and for export around the world. We process sunflower seeds to make sunflower oil and meal at the crushing plant in Kahovka. We are also active in animal nutrition.

2016Cargill and MV Cargo formalise share purchase agreement to construct a port terminal in Yuzhni.
  
2014Cargill loses control of its sunflower crushing plant in Donetsk due to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
  
2011Cargill completes the acquisition of Provimi, a leading producer of animal feed.
  
2005Cargill acquires its second sunflower seed processing and extraction plant in Kakhovka, in the Kherson region.
  
 Cargill acquires two additional grain elevators — the Konstantinovka silo in the Donetsk region and the Balakleya silo in the Kharkiv region.
  
2004Cargill acquires its fourth grain elevator, the Khaschevatoye silo, in the Kirovograd region.
  
1995Cargill builds a sunflower seed crush plant in Donetsk.
