Wayzata, Minn. — Cargill has been named a 2026 Corporate Wellness Innovator by Fast Company and Wellhub. The recognition celebrates companies taking innovative, holistic approaches to supporting employees’ physical and mental well-being.
Honorees were selected through a qualitative review of their human resources and wellness policies as well as national media coverage. The Fast Company editorial team recognized companies whose policies were differentiated, innovative and centered on employees’ needs. Cargill was selected for its comprehensive benefits supporting physical and emotional health, as well as Employee Assistance Programs designed to strengthen employees’ personal and professional well-being and was the only company recognized in the Agri-Business category.
Cargill has taken purposeful action to make well-being resources accessible across its global workforce, from manufacturing facilities to corporate offices. The company has expanded emotional well-being support, modernized its global Employee Assistance Program and enhanced its digital benefits experience, while also offering childcare and eldercare resources and financial assistance during unexpected hardships.
“Our strategy is designed to support our employees’ physical, mental, financial and social well-being wherever they work,” said Kori Chavez, vice president of global benefits and well-being. In a recent survey, 86% of employees said safety, health and well-being are top priorities at Cargill.
“This recognition reflects our continued work to create a more consistent, equitable and accessible well-being experience for employees around the world,” said Steph Lundquist, Cargill’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “It is a testament to the teams who make this possible and to our employees, whose feedback helps us reach higher every day.”
