We procure all our raw materials from the Cargill group or from approved and qualified external suppliers. The quality of our selected ingredients enables our functional systems to meet agreed functional, physical, chemical, and microbiological product property standards.
Our ingredients comply with the laws and regulations, in the country where they are produced. In addition, ingredients for the USA are selected in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations and/or the Food Chemical Codex; in Europe they meet relevant European regulations; and in China they comply with the GB regulatory.
Some Cargill products are only approved for use in certain geographies, end uses, and/or at certain usage levels. It is the customer's responsibility to determine, for a particular geography, that (i) the Cargill product, its use and usage levels, (ii) the customer's product and its use, and (iii) any claims made about the customer's product, all comply with applicable laws and regulations.
