Energy and water usage are hot topics in the brewing industry. To address the range of customer challenges, Cargill has built a set of steady state and dynamic computer models and tools for the brewery environment.
These models approximate the economic and environmental cost of operating the facility as it includes overall heating and cooling requirements, water and raw material use, and losses associated with wet solids and fermentation. This standardized set of modeling tools (which include fluid dynamics) can be used by customers to perform the analysis themselves.
Some Cargill products are only approved for use in certain geographies, end uses, and/or at certain usage levels. It is the customer's responsibility to determine, for a particular geography, that (i) the Cargill product, its use and usage levels, (ii) the customer's product and its use, and (iii) any claims made about the customer's product, all comply with applicable laws and regulations.
