Starch and Derivatives

Cargill’s C*™ starches have been developed to fulfill the diverse and exacting needs of our customers. They offer major functional benefits and contribute significantly to the overall quality of the end product.

Starch occurs naturally as water-insoluble granules and is available in unlimited quantities , thus proving to be a cost-effective ingredient for developing new products or reformulating existing ones across a variety of applications.

Starch can be further hydrolyzed to form maltodextrins and glucose syrups, which, if hydrolyzed, can in turn produce different polyols.
