Cargill has been active in Switzerland since 1956 and employs approximately 350 people at its headquarters in Geneva. Cargill in Switzerland is a critical location for Cargill with the global trading for grains and oilseeds managed out of Geneva. It also serves as our global headquarters for freight trading and shipping operations.

Cargill in Switzerland donates around USD 150,000 a year to Switzerland-related causes and global organisations such as; Le CARÉ (food bank), Armée du Salut, Caritas, Hôpiclowns, Solidarité Femmes, Croix Rouge Suisse, Terre des Hommes, Ship “Genève” and World Vision.
Cargill has fostered talent growth in the Geneva region through its partnership with the STSA Master in Trading program set up in collaboration with the University of Geneva, where an academic program is combined with on-the-job training to enable students pursue a successful career in the commodity industry.
