That is why we are investing in and supporting activities to help cocoa farmers improve agricultural working practices and to deliver benefits to local communities.
Cargill is one of the world’s major processors of cocoa beans. We manufacture cocoa products such as cocoa powder, cocoa butter, cocoa liquor and industrial chocolate. Although cocoa is grown in several areas throughout the world, West Africa produces nearly three-quarters of the world’s cocoa.
