Specialties

Cargill can provide a range of specialty products, using selected ingredients, including:

Organic chocolate

Our organic chocolate is based on our highly regarded, tried and trusted gourmet chocolate but is produced with 99.5% organic ingredients. The majority of the organic ingredients are produced under the Cargill brand, including exclusive cocoa ingredients from the Dominican Republic:

  • Cargill organic cocoa mass
  • Cargill organic PPP cocoa butter
  • Cargill sunflower lecithin, Topcithin™ SF
  • Cargill organic natural vanilla extract

All our organic chocolate meets the requirements of NOP (North American standards) or BIO (European standards) and is certified by SKAL and ECOCERT (certifying bodies).

Chocolate with sunflower lecithin

Cargill’s access to sunflower sourcing in Europe provides you with the opportunity to use sunflower lecithin as an alternative to soy lecithin. While the performance is similar, sunflower lecithin offers a secure non-genetically modified lecithination alternative

Single origin chocolate

With our extensive sourcing operations, we have been able to select cocoa beans from specific origins for our exclusive single origin chocolate. The following origins are available:

  • Arriba
  • Brazil
  • Bahia
  • Amazonia
  • Cameroon
  • Ghana
  • Ivory Coast
  • Madagascar
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Venezuela
  • Vietnam
