Manufacturing alginates in all its forms for different applications requires a high level of production expertise.

Thanks to its direct raw material access along the Brittany coasts and in-depth technical expertise, Cargill is well recognized for its ability to offer thickening alginates with a high degree of viscosity (> 1800 cPs).

Cargill has in-depth expertise in many end use applications for alginates and works in close contact with its customers to deliver the specific functionality and performance required in various consumer products.

Some Cargill products are only approved for use in certain geographies, end uses, and/or at certain usage levels. It is the customer's responsibility to determine, for a particular geography, that (i) the Cargill product, its use and usage levels, (ii) the customer's product and its use, and (iii) any claims made about the customer's product, all comply with applicable laws and regulations.
