Isomaltidex™ isomalt

The search to find the ideal substitute of sugar continues to be boosted by the desire to reduce the calories of foods and to promote a longer and healthier life. To meet this need of consumers, Cargill created a line of sweeteners, which helps food and beverage manufacturers to meet the needs of consumers who are concerned with weight and blood levels in the blood. IsoMaltidex™ is a product that is a little hygroscopic and has a very low refreshing effect. It provides volume, texture and the benefits of preservation of saccharose, free of sugars and with calorie reduction. It is indicated in weight control and in people with restriction in the eating of sugar, in addition to being a non-cariogenic product, having been honored with the recognition of "tooth-friendly product" by Toothfriendly International.

IsoMaltidex™ is a product that is ideal for confections and sweets, mainly hard candies. Its sweet flavor, low calorific value and being a non-cariogenic product are some of the benefits that show sweet producers the superiority of IsoMaltidex™. The functional properties make IsoMaltidex™ one of the most traditional polyols of the market and the main sweetener for sugar-free candies.
