Cargill developed GrainWise® wheat aleurone as an innovative, all natural ingredient to help manufacturers create healthier foods that appeal to more consumers.

Derived from the nutrient-rich aleurone layer of the wheat kernel, it provides the many of the nutritional benefits of whole grain while also preserving the popular sensory attributes of foods made from white flours – such as a soft texture, high volume and lighter color.
